Timeless. Ageless. Snoot-less.
Let’s drink some red wine.
Ah, Labor Day Weekend. Summer ends. Whether that’s bittersweet for you (summer fling?) or joyful (back to school), let us guide you through one of our favorite seasons: Red wine shoulder season. Because Mother Nature has zero respect for your thermostat, may we recommend, nay insist, a glass of chilled red?
3 Chillable Reds:
Lini Lambrusco + Rich Italian foods (charcuterie, cheeses etc.)
Lambrusco is Italy’s bubbly clapback to all that salty, fatty goodness. Rich prosciutto? Funky Parm? Triple-cream cheese? This fizzy red slices right through it all like a palate-cleansing lightsaber.
Colombier Vacqueries Tradition (Grenache blend) + Paella
This southern Rhône red has just the right swagger for paella - smoky, spicy, a little wild. It’s bold enough to handle the chorizo but won’t bulldoze the saffron.
Domaine Vacheron Sancerre Rouge 2023 + Chicken Curry
Forget “white with spice.” This light, silky Pinot from the Loire laughs at curry heat and high-fives every aromatic in the dish. Bright, juicy, and chillable, it’s your weeknight curry’s new bestie.
We’re busy working our way through updated reporting, site updates (shout out to Rosie for majorly QBing), and getting the kiddos ready for back to school. It’s a lot! We’re excited for the rest of the year and can’t wait to share more updates soon.
Cheers!
